What time is Check-In and Check-Out?

Check-In time is after 4:00 pm and Check-Out is by 10:00 am.

How do I book a home?

Please use the Check Availability Box to search for availability and to book. We do ask you to book online as this is how we get you to digitally sign our rental agreement.

Is booking online secure?

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when book online. We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our payment gateway provider’s database. It will only be accessible by those authorized with special rights to such systems. They are required to keep the information confidential. After a transaction, your private information will not be stored on our servers.

Can I bring my pet with me?

We offer pet friendly homes. Choose "pet friendly" during your search to generate a list of all pet friendly homes. The type and size of pet varies per house. Please view the house description for the allowed type and size of your pet. A $75 pet fee per pet is required along with agreement of the pet policy.

What are the benefits of a vacation home rental?

Our vacation homes are stocked in such a way that you always feel like you are coming "home" to your vacation home rather than returning to a small hotel room. Our homes have full kitchens, with some homes having game rooms, hot tubs and fire pits. You will be able to enjoy a full service home while you are on vacation rather than a small, cramped hotel room.

Do I need to bring linens?

We supply each home with a basic supply of linens consisting of all bed linens, bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, dish towels, and kitchen towels. One set for each person as set by the maximum allowed at that property. Bed linens and bath towels are not changed during your stay. You may want to bring your own beach towels for use on the docks and decks.

What is supplied in the home?

Each home is stocked with your basic serve ware, cookware, and bake ware, (styles and quantity vary by home). If you cook with a specialty item, please make plans to bring that with you. The startup set of bath, dish and laundry soap, toilet tissue and trash bags are not replenished. There will not be any condiments in the home. A standard coffee maker is supplied.

How do I get my keys?

Each home has a lock box that contains the keys. You will receive an email the Monday before your arrival date containing the lock box code. The key in the lock box is to remain in the lock box at all times when not being used. An additional set of keys will be in the house for you to use during your stay. On your departure, please leave that set of keys in the house. There will be a $150.00 charge for lost keys and $75.00 for keys not returned to the lock box.

Do I need a fishing license to fish on Lake Murray?

Yes, the Department of Natural Resources requires you to have a fishing license if fishing on Lake Murray. You can purchase one online, http://www.dnr.sc.gov/purchase.html or by visiting one of our local businesses that sell them.

Do I have to stay a full week or can I stay one night?

We require a two night stay, some properties require a three night stay. Depending on the season you may be required to stay a full seven (7) days. This is indicated on the property page.

Do you have any rentals that rent for long term?

Yes. Many of our vacation homes will rent for less than six months during the off season. For those wanting longer than six months we also have long term rentals available. Can I have more guest than the home allows?

Guest(s) agree that more than the number of people stated on the lease shall not occupy the premises at any time. Each home has the advertised maximum occupancy listed on our website. If the unit or property is occupied by more than the number of people stated, it will result in loss of total rent, security deposit and/or additional charge to credit card. Occupancy in use of premises shall not be such as to disturb or offend neighbors.

What if I need to cancel my reservation?

A $75.00 administration fee is assessed for all cancellations. However, if Guest(s) cancel less than thirty (30) days prior to the arrival date, Guest(s) advance payment will be forfeited unless the property is re-rented for the same time period. No cash refunds are given. (For a refund of Money, cancellation must be in writing 30 days for all properties prior to arrival date, less a $70.00 administration fee per property). Paid security deposits are fully refunded if you cancel within 30 days.

Do you offer any discounts?

Yes, we offer a past guest discount of 5% off of the base rental rate. If you are a past guest with us, please call the office for the discount code to use upon booking. Must be applied to a reservation before check-out.
